IAS Outstanding Junior Fellows Nominations

Call for nominations - IAS Oustanding Junior Fellows

Guidelines for submitting candidates in the framework of
The IAS Oustanding Junior Fellows

Time Table

Nominations intended for the January meeting of the Institute Committee should be submitted to the IAS secretary until the beginning of December. Decisions concerning the Fellows will be made one academic year before their expected visit (i.e. the fellows are elected for the academic year starting in the following October).

Confirmed Visitors

Following confirmation of a nominated Fellow, the Institute will notify the originator(s) of the nomination and the dean, and send a letter of invitation to the confirmed candidate. Confirmed fellows are expected to coordinate the timing of their visit with their faculty hosts as well as with the Institute.

The Institute staff will take care of logistics associated with travel, housing and general expenses, and assist the host in organizing and announcing any academic program associated with the visit.

Faculties are expected to take care of the academic schedule and the on-campus needs of their visitors, including office space and computer services.
