Fulbright-TAU Senior Scholars Nominations

  • Framework of Visits
  • How to

There are several IAS frameworks for bringing visitors to the University, and the "Fulbright-TAU Senior Scholars" framework is reserved for U.S. citizens only, with an academic rank of Assistant professor or higher.

Fulbright-TAU Fellowship will be carried out at TAU and awarded to candidates who have been selected by the United States-Israel Educational Foundation (USIEF) and by the TAU Institute of Advanced Studies board committee. In keeping with the goals and principles of the two partners, the criteria for the selection of grant recipients will be academic excellence and proven leadership capabilities.

The "Fulbright-TAU Senior Scholars" Program is co-administered by the IAS and the Council for International Exchange of Scholars (CIES) on behalf of the Department of State. More details on the program and on the submission of applications may be found on the CIES website. Those interested may also contact the CIES staff member responsible for the Middle East region for further information on the application process at middleeastnorthafrica@iie.org.
